playbca.com presents the 14th Annual US Bar Table Championships hosted by the SandsRegency Casino Hotel in Reno, Nevada on February 28 through March 4.

Featuring both 8-Ball and 9-ball events, the Sands Regency Casino Hotel will add $10,000 to each division. There is a $500 bonus for the woman finishing highest in each, plus a $5,000 bonus to any player who wins both. Don't forget, the Sands never sleeps, so there will be plenty of all-night action including ring games, mini tournaments, and anything you can match-up.

I believe the 9 Ball starts Feb 28th, and the 8 Ball March 2nd. Anybody planning on going??

I'll be there, and the 9-ball is scheduled to start on the 28th. I've been there once before and the field was full of great players.

Hi easy....Ill be their, my first time in Reno. I liked the alternate break format and will need to break strong to compete. Good Luck

I haven't seen any info on it, I didn't know it was alternate break! I haven't played there in 7 years. Do you know if we still have to bring a pocket full of quarters? That was the worst part.
 
Not related to the above post, but I am going to donate. The Sands grows on you. Like that stuff on your high school gym locker.

All joking aside, I was there in December for the Open and had a blast. Might as well check out the small tracks. How many little tables will they have ? I'm guessing they are all upstairs like the Open.
 
last time I was there they played in the same ballroom as the open, but they had probably 40+ tables. They didn't have the stands set up so there was plenty of room for the tables. It was a lot of fun watching some of the pros play on a bar table:)
