Player Money Earnings

So on the player section of the site, how is the money earnt calculated? Sorry if im saying something stupid here but i just dont understand hehe. For example:

Raj Hundal won 20G's at the world pool masters yet isnt displayed in the top earners of 2005?

And also where is our current world champion? Mr Wu? Surely he should be in the top earners list too?

Somebody explain :D

Maybe they haven't added the moneys yet. And AzB doesn't take into consideration all the tournaments there is. For instance EuroTours aren't included there.
 
They try to list all they can, but even on mine, they miss quite a few payouts. I am sure it takes alot of time to add that kind of info for each player, each tournament.
 
I think if you cehck the year to date its still behind, I think Mike does them in Quaters and he's only up to April! Im hoping he does it soon :-)
 
Pool is really too unorganized to keep track of all the tournament winnings. I'd imagine the players make more money than what's listed.

Yes Im pretty sure they count but they won't count until Mike has put all the data into his database and updated the site! Like I said if you look at the 2005 tournament payouts you will see that only the results upto April have been added.

Mike any updates planned soon? (I'm still stuck on $150 lol which isn't a bad thing ;-)

I know that what is reported for me is only what I win off the regional tours or Pechauer, etc. There are tons of independent tournaments on the weekend (I won 3 in 3 weekends, none of which were added to the tally on AZB) and even weekly tournaments where you are making $100/night. Not that everyone wants the IRS to know the ACTUAL amount they are winning published. Me, of course, I claim it all. :D

OMG, as a web developer myself I almost passed out at the thought of poor old Mika adding weekend tounry results lol!

But yes his list only includes a certain list of the major tourneys that he gets results for. I hope he updates it soon :-)
 
Is listing all of each and every players tournament winnings for each and every event that important. Thats alot of work to keep up with for AZB. Just use it as a general guideline for players yearly earning.
 
I try to add all of the results from the tourneys that I report on the site. I am only up to April though. Hoping to get caught up some next week. Of course, I am off to Vegas late next week for the BCA Amateur 9-Ball event.
