I rack balls said:ummmm about a 4-4.5 I haven't played in a regional event because there aren't many in West Texas so it is hard to judge where I am at. I am upset if I don't win a local tournament. Time will tell.

1) Recreational Player... just goes to the bar or pool hall once in a while and grabs a house cue off the wall and has some fun with pool now and then. This player may owe a cue.
2) League Player... This player definately owns a cue. They will play on a team and possibly play on several leagues. They sometimes will play in 5 dollar to 20 dollar nightly or weekly tourneys. Also they may enter in a local or regional big event.
3) League Champs... This player is among the best in the Leagues. They are the ones who are most respected in league competition. Like the above players, they will have a job and go to work. More than likely has always had a job and has really developed their game. They are always in the money in the nightlys or weeklys and sometimes in the money in the big local and regional events. Possibly a little gambling too.
4) Regional Champs... This player may or may not have job. However they tend to stay close to home and may wonder within a couple of states for pool. These players are Always in the cash and may gamble a bit too. They are the ones who Win the nightlys and weeklys and they also Win the Regional and Local events. Definately the Best of your area.
5) Road Players... This player plays pool for a living. No Job, pool is their job. They gamble alot and are always in the cash in one way or another. They travel all over the country regularly looking for a game or tournament. This player is among the best in the country. May also play in pro events.
6) Pro Tour Player... This player is always at all the Big events. They are the National Champions of the game. Their caliber of play is excellent. Pro tour stops and world events are their place.
7) World Class... These players are the best of the best in the World. Johnny Archer, Efren Reyes, Earl Strickland, Ralf Souquet, Mr. Hohmann , Nick Varner and all the other World Champions. These are the ones who WIN the pro events and world championships.
There has been some revisions to this scale on page 2 to help guide you further in your standing...have fun...

I believe I heard Billy Lewis announce you at one of his many incredible tournaments as "Sam, always in the money" Kirby"!! I think that says 4 (due to the j-o-b) but more like 5 in reality.satman said:I'm in that 4 bracket. Cash in most of the events I play in. Although I don't win as many as I used to, I can still knock off most of the players who show up at a tournament. I'll generally sell in one of the blind bids at Indiana tournaments.
