I'm also confused... How come Shanelle Lorraine isn't on the invite list (yet!)..? :eek:
 
IF SVB isnt confirmed than why do they have him on the flyer ? ? ? ?


I'm sure he will be there anywqays to defend his title, i would like to see him repeat!
 
Word on the street is that 96 player field is full with waiting list, but when do we expect to see the full list vice 22 confirmed list?

If this is true, I don't know why they are continuing to take entry fees on their website, or why they began accepting them in the first place. In fact, i submitted my entry fee over a week ago. Afterwards, I heard it was changed to an "invitational only". Maybe my reading is not up to par, I thought it said International (not invitational).

After numerous (and I mean numerous as in 10+) attempts at voicemails, emails, text messages, etc. on a daily basis, I have been unable to get a response from anyone running this event in order to confirm who is or who is not allowed to enter, or if in fact, it is an "invitational only."

I guess if it is an invitational, then why are they accepting entry fees online? Maybe they are waiting to see if they get enough participants for an "invitational only", and if not, then everyone else will be allowed to participate. Who knows. A little explanation would be nice.

To say I am frustrated and disappointed is an understatement. I continually do my part to support both the amateur and professional pool players in any way I can. I guess a little explanation from the event coordinators is too much to ask.

To Mr. Williams' credit, i did get a brief return email, inquiring if anyone had got back to me, to which I replied "no". I can only hope he is reprimanding those within that are not doing and/or taking their job seriously, for IMHO, they are truly chalking up another bad mark for professional pool.

Hopefully, someone affiliated with this event will release some kind of info soon!

Are you talking about the Desert Shoot Out Tourney. This is actually for the Predator International 10 Ball Tourney in Las Vegas during BCA. Chuck has nothing to do with that tourney.

He is hosting the Shoot Out, and is our title sponsor for the AZ tour. I have his number on speed dial. :) I'm already in for the Shoot Out. Pretty much a lot of same players for the Vegas tourney.

The entry fees on website are meant for only players with invitations.
96 players have been invited. there is deadline for confirmation and then deadline for entries.
Spots may open if players dont meet deadlines.
Currently 87 players on alternate list.

Your entry fee will be processed for reimbursement.
