You can do more with less on the snooker cue, meaning you can stay closer to the center of the CB to get desired english...closer to the center you stay the straighter you shoot.
Mostly I agree with Scott on this, BUT games like One Pocket which include much banking are more difficult if you use spin when shooting bank shots....sole reason being the english is magnified with the smaller snooker cue tip. Thats if you switch cues tho, if you were used to the Snooker cue tip diameter then eventually the english adjustment would not be a problem.
Its also a Pain in the butt shooting on the BB with the smaller and heavy aramith ball (green logo), I find the snooker shaft doesn't have as much endmass so it wants to push that little heavy CB instead of poping it off the tip. So i don't use my snooker cue on the BB.
All in all in regards to 8/9/10 ball and such games I love shooting runout games with the snooker cue as i can stay center of the CB which is great.
I keep my snooker cue on me at all times, its the TRIPLE NUTS for SUPER CUT SHOTS and other delicate fine shots....its all about the FINER AIM.
AIM SMALL, MISS SMALL....thats what a snooker cue is all about
hope that helps,
