Playing with a beard, issues

for real

this is a for-real issue with some cues.... and if you have a curlier beard hair the problem can be horrible... as others have said, get away from the cheaper cues... especially cheap stainless joints with a lot of miles

Personally I don't think you have a cue problem, you have a beard problem. I say go with the 6 pointed star beard and the facial hair wont be a problem. That "6 pack beard" is badass!!!!:clapping:

put a piece of painters tape over the cue and call it a day ....

Or, you could do something like this and have the added convenience of a phone.

you are right it is a for real issue
glad to hear others have had the same issue
flush cue, or painters tape it is

actionplayer.........you wrote "at certain times of the year or just when I have been lazy I may grow some facial hair.
Now when I do and have a little growth when I play sometimes my hair gets caught in my cue."

Buddy, I've grown several beards in my lifetime and have one right now......if you are "growing" a beard after having
deciding to stop shaving, and your facial hair is down to your cue in 10-12 mths.......You should top using Miracle Grow
for your shave cream and Rogaine as an after shave.

I have had this happen and it hurts like hell. I have a real long beard its only
caught a few times but when it does I f--k my shot up and feel quick pain shoot
threw my brain stem. I think it does get caught on the joint somehow.
ps( I don't have a crappy cue)

This happens to me all the time when playing snooker. It isn't anything to do with a joint but more the grain of the Ash. It snags on stubble and slightly longer hairs. My chin puts a lot of pressure onto the cue, and I've always assumed this to be why it snags so much. Never had it happen with maple cues. Id get someone to take a look at your joint.

I wouldn't cultivate something on my face that grows wild on my ass.
Never had any ass hair get caught in my crack.. or crack in the cue joint.
