Please email ESPN3 !!!

I actually waited to try to spread the responses out a bit, thinking maybe that would create more impact. Regardless, my update will bump the original post and maybe stir up a few more emails. :)

Here is my response with the cut and paste reply from them:

Thanks for the great feedback! We’ve shared your note with those closely involved with our coverage of the Mosconi Cup and I’m sure they’ll appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to write.

Sincerely,

Brandon

I just wanted to express my appreciation for your coverage of the Mosconi cup at the end of 2012. Watching the matches live was a thrill for me and would not of been possible without your support of billiards. Please continue to support billiards by airing matches and I will do anything in my power to support your wonderful channel. Thank you again and I look forward to future coverage of billiard events!

Even if you didn't watch this past year's Mosconi Cup Championship, if you're an American, and you belong to this forum, you should be sending a thank you note to ESPN. I'm not trying to shame anyone into writing but it is quick and easy and takes less than 2 minutes.

Who knows maybe one day ESPN will choose to broadcast this event live on the television.

The only reason I would like to see the Mosconi Cup on the television is for the advertising dollars that might come with it. It could be a stepping stone for pool in general.

As far as the livestream was concerned, the quality overall was quite good.

We have a Mosconi Cup type championship at Buffalo Billiards in Metairie, Louisiana EVERY WEEK of the year. Race to 1, double elimination, Tuesday night, 8:00PM. (unless holiday). Free entry fee. Normally we get 55-64 players, cutting it off at 64. Talk about pressure. Since it doesn't cost anything to enter, the participants take certain "liberties" prior to the shot just like the real Mosconi Cup. It is a unique atmosphere.
Ronnie Wiseman, James Walden, Richie Richardson, Evan Lunda, Justin Hall have all made appearances. Why not you?:winknudge:
