I own a nice brown leather case. It's a 2/4 and it has no markings to ID it.
I hope you can help me to ID this case. Please look at the pics and let me know what you're thinking.
The plug on the top was replaced because it was broken.

Thanks a lot guys

Let me know if you need more or special pics!

I think you are right, TATE is the Case EXPERT....:)
Nothing against Chris, but I'd consider Jack Justis and John Barton (onepocketchump) as the primary case experts on these boards.

Fred <~~~ looks like a Mueller's/Dennis Swift case.

it's a swift. i have a 3x6 exactly the same but mine has a tip tapper pocket.

Case Id

Look under the handle, if there is nothing that looks like Jiff Q Cases, then it is a swift, if it has odd looking writing under the handle then it is a Flowers.
Swift = 200.00
Flowers = 3-350 from the right buyer.

It's a Swift for sure. Here's a page I did for Dennis:

http://www.palmercollector.com/DennisSwift.html

The one you have looks like an older case. Dennis stopped putting his name on the cases because most have been re-sold under the name of other companies, such as Widowmaker or Meuller's.

Fred's right - I'm not an expert on cases at all, I just have an interest in collectibles and have done some research on the more common cases people seek to identify.

I've bought and sold cases like this for $200 - $250.

Just to be clear, Chris, I think you have a ton more knowledge about cases than the average poster, consdering the work you've done on your site. It was just the wording "the cue EXPERT" that Bruce used that I thought was odd.
