I recently purchased this unknown cue and would like your help to identify it. I took the wrap off because it was very dirty irish linen and I wanted to see how the cue was constructed. Is this considered a half splice cue?
The cue came with an unmatching shaft I would like to get two custom shafts with matching joint rings made for the cue any suggestion? This may not be an easy task because I an not farmiliar with the type of joint this has there is a recess or hole in which the screw is machined from see picture 13.
I am no expert but the cue feels to be very high quality and the attention to detail on the splice and veneers seem pretty well done.
I will be posting 15 pictures if you need any other information please ask.
Thank you very much in advance.

I am not sure but Tad comes to mind because of the long butt and design.

I'm not a cue maker, but a piloted shaft insert for that cue isn't a problem. I am sure of that. I have some with joint collars that thick.

I don't know who made it, but it looks like a good cue. I would say definitely worth getting a shaft or two made for it.

.

Okay not a Tad progress is being made thanks to everyone so far.
FYI, I am also interested in having the cue refinished and rewrapped along with the creation of shafts.

I was trying to send some pictures last night to Tad, does anyone know his e-mail. The only site I could find was Tadcues.net and that would not open.

It is hard to tell by the photo's but I have been noticing that the MOP dots are not flat. They look like they were sliced from a sigle bead or pearl. Two are flatter and two are more rounded. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Cue

I don't know abouit the cuemaker, but I would put a brown leather wrap on it.

Here is a diagram with exact measurements. Everything is cut to 1/16", 1/8", 1/4" ect. Whomever made this used the standard system of measurements thats for sure.

Going to resurect this post see if we can figure it out. The points are full splice constructon but then cut off under the wrap, what would be the purpose of going through the work of making full splices then cutting them off, and what cue makers do this?

Thaks for your thoughts,
