My father passed away and I have an old 10' Brunswick 3 Cushion Table. The plate on the head rail says:

MONARCH
The Bruncswick Balke Collander
Cushion

There is a number on a sticker on the side of the head rail that has lots of patent numbers but the latest one is 1688.311

Then there is a set of numbers called: Design Patent Number and the latest one of those is 75952

This table has had VERY little play in the past 30 years and was recovered about 15 years ago and the cloth looks like new. I would like to know what a current value of this table is and what would be a very fair price that would allow the table to sell quickly. In addition, there is also a set of very old ivory billiard balls in an old wooden box. I am attaching some pictures of the table to help you identify/evaluate it. Thank you

The last 5 pictures are of the billiard table. The first 5 are of an old 9' Brunswick pool table he also had. Thanks again

I see that 30+ people have read this post but nobody has been able to offer any help. Is there any other place you would recommend I go with this question? Thank you

With the diamond pattern on the flared legs, it looks like a Randolph model from the late 1920s to mid-1930s, but the flared legs were also used on the Regent and Regina models. Not certain if the diamond pattern was used on those other models.

Call Ken Hash at Classic Billiards near Baltimore. He could help identify and estimate the cost. I'm hardly an expert. There is also Antique Billiard Supply in Rockford, Illinois, that may assist. There are other places as well, one in New York (Blatt Billiards) and one in California (Billiard Restoration)>

It is more decorative than functional in that serious billiard players would prefer the modern, heated tables from Europe (Verhoeven, Gabriels, Soren Sogard, Breton) than antique billiards tables. The old ones, though attractive, do not play like the new ones.

I also have a 1912 Brunswick at home. I'll be home on the 26th and will check the Patent #'s and advise. look at pic in my avitar.

This looks exactly like the tables at the Dubuque Mason Lodge. I believe they were purchased in 1936? You can contact Robert Byrne at bob@byrne.org

He's a member of that Lodge and may know the answer too.

Also you could contact the 2 businesses in Clay Center KS. Search Clay Center and billiards. 100% chance they have the answer.

My grandfather was raised in that lodge.

My old Brunswick says "August-21-1917" on the patent # sticker. There are a number of entries starting with Jan.3, 1901. If I could post a pic of my table, I would.
The Cobra "Glen Hofman" spent a week at my home changing the rail height on the table. He is a good guy.

The probate has settled and I am now able to sell these antique tables. Some replies I have received to this post 3 months ago seem to suggest the following:

"Value estimate: sold separately the pool table is worth $3000-5000 and the billiard table is $2800-$3800"

I am willing to take the lower of these estimates to facilitate a quick sale. The tables are located in Ohio and my phone number is 419-884-3741

Hancock, actually...

Looks like there is not much interest so I guess I will have to leave them in the basement for whoever buys the house. If anyone is interested and wants to see them, the tables are in Ohio and my number is 419-884-3741
