Hopefully all those with BRW realize the amount of deforestation involved in obtaining these woods. All BRW that enters the states now is either stump wood, certified through the CITES or illegal. Introduced in 1900 and revised in 2008 to combat the illegal lumber trade. China holds the crown with 2/3 of all illegally farmed lumber being purchased by them. If people are concerned with ivory and elephants, think of deforestation and extinction of multiple species for a piece of wood.
It is our responsibility to be good stewards to the land, our kids get it next, why not make it better.
It is amazing to see an old Szamboti that one can identify the points as honduran rosewood. I'm assuming Barry still has the specs from his dads ledger. The Dalbergia Family is large and difficult to distinguish from each other at times.
