Just watched a movie called Talk Radio bout a abusive, confrontation talk radio host. This is based somewhat on the murder of Alan Berg,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Berg.
In the movie, there is a reoccurring theme. People would call in, tell him how much they hated him and his show and so on.
Well, his question to the callers was "Why do you listen? Why don't you just change the station or turn off the radio if you don't like what you hear?"
Something applies here.
Watch the movie, you might learn why you hate the crap, but you still read it.
As for flame wars..........think of what it takes to have a fire, three things....fuel, heat, oxygen.
Same with a flame war.....it takes three things......take one away, no flame war. Meaning everyone has a choice to get into to a flame war. No one makes them do so. It's all on their on accord, usually trying to prove themselves right when someone disagrees or better then others. Maybe the biggest reason is SDS.(small dick syndrome)
To me, anyone that gets into a flame wars are weak, insecure people.
How do ya like this crap?
