Police looking for Road Player

It seems it would have been a lot easier for everyone involved to just post a thread with the heading "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS ROAD PLAYER".

You could have taken it a step further and told everyone that you or someone you know owes him money and you want to contact him instead of posting the info that was posted.

Hows that old saying go? It's easier to attract flies with honey...........

Just my opinion.
 
Evilmoody and I are in the same APA area league and Ive heard the same story about this incident involving Nacho and I think she did the right thing airing this out.. You wouldnt want this guy to harm someone close to you...

By saying “if you see this guy call Alsip Police” he is providing information

By saying “have you seen this guy” he is conducting an investigation

I totally agree Evilmoody1 did the right thing. From what I have heard allegedly happened, there needs to be some closure to this incident.

I spoke with the Detective in charge of the investigation this evening. He stated that Ignacio "Nacho" Chavez is only wanted for questioning at this time and that no warrant has been issued yet. He also stated that in the near future he will most likely be issueing a warrant for his arrest for questioning purposes only as he may be a witness. The Detective also asked me to forward this information.

He also stated the Ignacio "Nacho" Chavez was last seen driving a 1989 Charcoal Gray Buick with an Illinois license plate of 9573201.

I think I saw him!! He was at a local Taco Bell gorging on Beef Mexi-Melts. :rolleyes: Give me a fookin' break, folks.
 
It's clear that a few people in this thread assumed from the initial post that Nacho is guilty. We heard about "presumption of guilt" and that he needs to be apprehended for closure. The bell has indeed been rung.

Not believing that the occasional maligned innocent is small potatoes in the larger picture of societal safety (not saying anyone said that, but just covering bases), it would've been better to simply post the detective's contact info and the message he provided.

It has been more that a couple of weeks since Nacho has disappeared in my area... I'd bet he is back in Mexico...
