After watching many videos on you tube witch I do when I'm board, of different cue repair men. I have seen a few guys use some kind of polishing liquid/compound to the tip and ferrule area after a new tip install.
There was one video from (cuetip1000) dont know who he is. who used some polishing liquid that put a unreal shine and finish on the tip and ferrule. One poster asked what it was that he was using. (cuetip1000) replyed saying it was something called DR. florke polishing liquid. I have searched high and low for days now and can't find anything at all about this stuff.

Has anyone ever herd of this Dr. Florke polishing liquid, Comes in a very small bottle maybe like 2oz. If so where can I find it or do you have any infomation about it.

For you guys who do use some kind of polishing liquid/compound what do you use.

I have never used anything after doing a tip install just the regular burninshing methods and finishing methods.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Dr. Florke............. are you shittin me.......... snake oil. Would you really buy anything made by Dr. florke????? Is this really a joke????

Stick with the people that make polishing their business.

I hit the ferrule and tip with 220 then 600. The I polish it with Turtle Wax white polishing compound in the green can. Finish it off with Meguiars Plastex for plastic headlights. Put a little of each on a paper towel and squeeze it on the ferrule and tip while it's spinning in the lathe. Nice shine on the ferrule and nice burnish on the tip

florke dr. florke...........

Like Tiger Products tip burnishing liquid?
Go to a shoe repair shop and see what they have. Liquid leather polish. Can't be much different.
