Americans can watch Matchroom's WNT World Pool Championship live on the Main Table via DAZN for a subscription price and watch Tables 1 and 2 for free on YouTube.

I subscribed to DAZN on May 11, 2024, for one month only, paid the higher price for one month only, and then I immediately canceled because the website said you must give 30 days' notice. After repeated attempts to cancel, there was no option to cancel provided. No phone number, no email, just a chat box. They offered a chat box as THE ONLY WAY to cancel if one wants to cancel, but nobody ever came in the chat box to take a cancellation.

I refuse to pay for a year subscription to DAZN because I don't feel it is a good value for me. I am a subscribed member of Matchroom.live, which comes in handy for some snooker matches.

Though I am currently within the 30-day period for my one-month subscription and I could, indeed, watch the Main Table at the World Pool Championship, I am, quite frankly, afraid to go on the DAZN website for fear they will charge me again for another month, saying I did not give them a 30-day notice.

I'm safer just reading the updates on AzBilliards and Facebook for the Main Table. I will never go on the DAZN website again.

I feel fortunate that MR removed DAZN from the only Canadian option to view, we use MR - Live now and is great and not to mention much cheaper.

I remember when Canada had to use DAZN along with the USA. It's a good thing for Canadians for sure. I wonder why they cannot do the same for Americans. I don't trust DAZN. It looks like a predatory website, and the fact that it's not in USA, as an American, I have no recourse to protect myself from having my credit card being charged. If it was an American company, I could go to CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau), but the fact they are located in a non-American country, after my recent experience on their website, there is no way I am letting them have access to my credit card.
 
If any iPhone users are interested in signing up for DAZN, sign up through the DAZN app on your phone. Apple makes it very easy to manage subscriptions through your phone and I’ve never had any issues canceling services that way.

That is good info. I'm glad it is working for you okay. I have an iPhone, but I do not trust DAZN. Never again for me, even on an iPhone.
 
I'm watching the main table on DAZN, but only a little. That will change when the event gets to Stage 2. I haven't watched Youtube matches at all.

The apple App Store gives you additional protections as part of the conditions for allowing dazn on their store so it’s completely safe. Plus as an added bonus, dazn will make like 30% less off of your subscription because of apple’s cut.
 
I said I was watching on YouTube, because I forgot I had DANZ! Thanks for reminding me. Now watching on both.
 
DAZN only.
While the yearly rate is starting to get ridiculous, there’s a lot for me to enjoy between the pool, snooker, boxing & the occasional darts.
 
DAZN is annoying as hell, but it is basically the only option for me. I primarily watch via smart TV apps (DAZN and/or YouTube). Trying to use a VPN with the smart tv youtube app just for watching a single event is too much hassle. Now that there are multiple MR events throughout the year, keeping DAZN is a little more worth it than screwing with a VPN.

I would prefer to watch via youtube since premium membership is so cheap and removes all ads. Maybe matchroom will eventually sell subscriptions through youtube, which would be my preference.
 
I used to just buy the one month passes then cancel. Eventually I just gave up and subscribe annually. I only use it for pool.
 
I voted "not watching live" but not because I can't. I have DAZN and could watch on YouTube but just busy with life. Been watching the scores on the website though.

Not American, but far away.
I don't use Douyin, and I don't use the other platforms it is broadcast on here...

My local hall are also showing it live (it's funny, because the hall is full of TVs which never get used, they used to, but there was a change in the law regarding business broadcasting events during the last football World Cup, to prevent overcrowding in bars/businesses. To use these TVs is acceptable when showing something that is not from a TV Network I believe. So they are showing a version that is re-broadcast live by some streamer who commentates over the top in a window in the corner on Douyin, or maybe WeChat live function - I'm not sure. Either way, it's actually quite entertaining)

I use Vee Pee En - and YouTube in my home.
