my 2 guesses

are stalev and luat. I'm pulling for Labonte to do well though. He shoots out of a hall in my neck of the woods.

I would question

some of your choices considering that some of them run into each other in the brackets.

I don't think you can count Gabe out either.

My Take On It

I wouldn't rule out John Schmidt guys. He is stil on the winners side after 3 and he is playing Raj Hundal today. I met John the other day and he is an excellant player. I mean, how many of them have run 400 balls before? I know I have heard some thing about golf and a calcuta somewhere but I don't know the particulars. I will ask him about after the Open. I do know he is a very nice, drug free, clean cut gentleman. Him and Troy Frank both are very nice people and excellant players. I would bet anybody here he doesn't finish less than 28th and could take the whole thing.
I saw Rodney and Parica get sent to the losers side last night so I don't think either one of them can do it. Miki fired in a rocket speed table length bank on the eight ball last night and got shapes on the 9 for the win. One hell of a ballsy shot if ya ask me. Wish you all could be here.

How about a Cuetable on Mika's shot?

Scott, I really don't know how to do that. I will tell ya the ball flew off the felt for about 4 feet before going in the pocket. I will see if I can find somebody who can post it.

Mika is my pick it seems like its his time, he knows the venue, he could of got there in the last IPT event, and he's back in form, now if Earl gets in the finals, it'll be Earl. What I do find interesting is since there are so few great Phillipino players there, allot of the old guard players have shown up hoping to at least cash and have some fun, CJ is still on the winners side too and David Howard showed up tho on the left side of the board.

I like what both you and Purdman said. Schmidt is about due for one, if he can "stay within himself" and not let the rolls get to him. Earl could definitely pick up steam and roll right into the finals, although he's just a hair past his prime.

There's such talent over on the left side that one of those players might jump up and snap it all off. Looks like everyone's scared of Stalev.

However I wouldn't be surprised to see the winner of he Archer/Duell match take it all. Hope so.

I'm rooting for Appleton...
I was going to put him on the list, but I also wanted to add a few others, as well. I've never seen him play, but it appears he shoots lights out!

It looks like Deuel is the top pick, with Archer in 2nd place. Hmmm...

You would be pleasantly surprised if you included Ronnie Alcano's name there.
He will be up there in the thick of the fight...

I would love to see Cory, Earl, or any of the US guys up there, but my pick Is Alcano. He came into my town, gave everyone crazy weight, and beat em to death. Scary dude with a cue in hand.

I only had 10 options available, and I know how good he plays. I would have liked to have 16 options. I would not be surprised if he won the whole thing, moreover.
