Bought a new 2 X 4 case on eBay a couple of months ago for $120. It has a stand like a golf bag. You pop the stand out, the case sits at about a 30 degree angle, and you have a nice safe place to hold your cues when you're playing.

Obviously, it's not leather but it's a very nice looking sturdy case with plenty of storage. Recommended...

My day-to-day case cost $40.

It is a Fellini that I bought off Richard Black in 1981, when I had him make me my second cue from him. He tried to sell me one in 1978, when I had him make my first cue, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money...LOL!!!

I have a nice leather Instroke, but it does not hold everything I need.

I mostly use a cheap vinyl case that cost $55.

Planning on getting a nice custom leather carved case.

Real curious to see how this poll goes and which price range will end up leading the pack.

2x4 It's George is my everyday case.

I have a 3x7 Jack Justis and a 3x6 Murnak butterfly, but they don't fit my cue locker for storage unlike my It's George.

My suggestion, check with the wife and see what she likes and carry accordingly.

Very funny. She did see the guy at Amsterdam with the Louis Vuitton case..........................

I told her she already has something better. ME, the designated cue carrier. That's why I carry a 4x8 case.

I am kind of surprised at the poll results so far.

$65 Porper 2x2. I plan on upgrading to a sterling wave and one day a custom leather case. Baby steps:)

Actually, the Sterling Wave is a very nice upgrade in and of itself. Take it from a guy who did the exact same thing you did (i.e. upgraded from a Porper 2x2) about 5 years ago. I'm still using the Sterling Wave, and hadn't [yet] felt an urgent need to upgrade to a custom leather case. The Sterling does everything I want it to do -- with special emphasis on thorough and comprehensive protection of the cues -- and looks great.

can you honestly think of any purchase due to need when it relates to pool?

I am kind of surprised more than $500 is leading the poll.

Agreed.

I use a soft case usually, coz I can stick playing cue, j/b and 3c cue in it...3b/ 4s total.

I also have 3b/ 5s Guisseppe, 2b/3s sterling an 2b/2s cheapie hard cases.

There is no free on the list?

Someone gave me a handful of coupons to Cuesite a long time ago.
Got a bunch of soft cases and gave them away to friends in the pool room, and kept 2 for myself.

Think they are around $25 bucks or so if i were to have paid for them.

Agreed, but sometimes you want to spoil yourself. Going custom also allows you to have something unique and different. However, given my ability, I should be using a house cue. Tip optional.
