Yes, this is true. At the moment I have a few antique racks on the wall enough to hold about 18 sets. I rotate every so often, different themes I guess you could say.And as sure as night follows day, HKC, you will soon move on to the next stage of our shared addiction… contemplating how best to display your treasures.
That can get expensive as well.
Helps me remember what I have until I get more racks. What a vicious cycle we go through.
Something I have realized and maybe this is a piece of advice for others. You can't collect everything so there has to be a limit or a goal. RC you said it I think, you stuck to balls within your age and only phenolics, no clays If I remember correctly without looking back. I remember saying I wanted to collect one of everything. Come to the conclusion that's not feasible and probably not doable in my lifetime. I stayed clear of logo balls for the most part and cheap plastic sets. Not to say I don't have a couple that came my way over the years.
Happy hunting y'all and hopefully I'll have something to share in a few weeks when it gets back to me in a roundabout way from Canada. A story may be told!

Unfortunately not, but I will give a little away now. I found a billiard place in Canada about a year ago that had only 2 of the discontinued Aramith baseball sets left. I ordered a set on line and paid for it. A day or two later they returned my payment and stated between Tariffs and all it wasn't feasible to ship them to me. We went back and forth but they wouldn't budge. I recently tried again and they only had one set left but this time I couldn't even put in a USA address at all.That’s intriguing, HKC.

Well I'm grateful that friends of mine are traveling to Canada to visit family and I was able to have the last set shipped there, along with two other sets that you don't see often and one of them I've never seen come up at all.
I'll save those for when they arrive and I can take some pictures.
Needless to say I'm a little bit excited
I can hardly wait to see what you have discovered, HKC. If it’s not one of the Cardball variations I honestly have no clue about the big reveal.

Yep, the Bonus Ball 99 set is my first guess as well! Lovely set, got mine from Italy, sadly without any rulebook. But whoever has them in their Imgur account (I guess you know who you are), I am very thankful to at least get some scans 
The second set, I am not sure. If I would add something to my collection it would be either:
- the Boccette set
- the yellow Snooker set
- the Poker balls
- or the Russian Pyramid set
As I have 2 of these already, it‘s obvious I would have taken any of them

You are quite right on all accounts, the other two sets are the bonus ball 99, and the yellow Snooker set that I don't believe has come up here so I am new to them. Do you mean the set for Korean 6-Ball Carom? 6 different colours in 65,5mm and 3 of them have the numbers 0, 5 and 10 on them?
If so, do you have a better source then the Korean ebay seller? Even though they offer free shipping, the price is still quite high for something you don‘t use that often
I played the game with normal 61,5mm carom balls instead.
In all my rules research, I did not find a single game which uses balls like this. So I think it is save to say, they are just made for aesthetic reasons only…
