Not really special, just wanted a set of 52,5mm Crystalate (or similar quality), as my set has only 10 reds and I want to play a full 15 reds rack. But not as important actually, would just be nice to have. I bought 2 Crystalate sets from France, where they only cost about 20,- as well and shipping was another 5,-. They are just not very common outside of the UK and hard to find, not even expensive then. But from the UK they are about 20-30,- and then another 15-20,- shipping, and import taxes as well ontop, as Uk left the EUWhich snooker sets are you looking at, gentlemen? Are they unusual in any way?
Speaking of Etsy: Someone is offering Romanique I balls… that have been cut up to make jewellery.
There is a lady in France who cuts old balls up and makes jewelry as well, like rings and stuff. Some nice Aramith in there too sometimes, I even saw some 70s Poker Balls once and my heart nearly stopped
