No its not.Get a set of dynaspheres. They are basically cyclops balls and from my experience with cyclops balls the cue ball is a lot heavier than the rest of the balls.

Was bored today so I weighted some of my sets. I also created a separate thread.
Pool Ball Weights
I was bored today so I weighed some of the ball sets I have for comparison purposes. About the sets at time of weight: Aramith Tournament Set: Brand new, used a few times Brunswick Centennial Set 1: Brand new, used a few times Brunswick Centennial Set 2: Older, well used Brunswick Centennial...forums.azbilliards.com

Try washing your balls. They might just be dirty.Requesting feedback. I use at home Brunswick Centenial balls. They weigh approximately 6.6oz. In my league they changed all their balls to Dyna Spheres. I noticed my game changed. They seem much lighter and I weighed a ball and it came in at approx 5.9oz. I can tell the difference. The lighter balls seem to slide more. Long shots that may not be dead on appear to send the object ball off more than the heavier balls! Now, I’m thinking of switching to the Dyna Spheres at home to match the league I play at. All feedback would be appreciated!
I think your experience scale needs to be recalibratedGet a set of dynaspheres. They are basically cyclops balls and from my experience with cyclops balls the cue ball is a lot heavier than the rest of the balls.
I love how you state all ball is be them equal and then you post a link that illustrates their differences.Improvise, adapt, and overcome the new deal.
Do not play mind games with self except pretending all ball are equal.

Those tournament balls give me fits. I should prob get a set and holler mean things at them.I see the aramith tournaments go on sale quite often. I love my set. Crisp white color on the high balls and deep luster on the low balls. Wish the cue ball was a measel ball. I would like to own the black set they offer they look sharp in my opinion. I really like the black measles ball that comes in that set as well. I can never find this set on sale though. I will say my tournaments feel a lot heavier than the pool balls at the bar I play at sometimes. I have no idea what sets they use.
