Just a quick question. Other than AZBilliards and BilliardsDigest's forums, what are other well known messageboards/forums regarding pool/billiards?

I'm trying to look around for more but they are really hard to spot.
Thanks a lot!

A couple started up but the boards they used were so bad they died. Playpool.com was once the top board but it has virtually died this week, the only two people left there posting are yappin wolf and rackemup. It had become just a board to trash people on and that was the cause of it's demise. Scratch that one.

The newest one out is Billiards-pool.net It has different topics plus a seperate forum just for women and Christian pool players.
No flames, no wars is what they promise.

AZ is well on its way to becoming the number one board because it is the best and Mike cares about it. CCB is ignored, they spend their time on the magazine and do not give a hoot what goes down there. They see their board as nothing but a conveniece and a nuisance.

:D

Kokopuffs is right....seyberts.com is an excellent sight for getting information on products...especially Predator products....I also found this sight through their forum.....mike

My home room, southernbilliards.com but be careful, the Professor doesn't put up with any BS. Snipe hunters need not apply.

Man, the rates here in Yuppieland, aka Denver, range from $3.00 all you can play from 6 a.m. to 12 noon and then go to $1.70 an hour. At peak times $3.00 $4.50 an hour.

What's the industry/infrastructure in the Starkville area. And I ain't no snipe, either. I'm fixin' on moving back to the deep south where I have family.

While I enjoy this board, it will never reach it's potential until is is set up on a better server. This is the slowest web site that I visit on a regular basis. I serf the net on fast machine with a 3mg cable connection.

If this place is going to attract advertisers, it needs to upgrade.

Upgrading this forum is one of the first things I plan on doing. I have a solution ready, I just need to implement it.

I don't know what your upgrades may be, but from a user perspective, keep the software that allows me to view an entire thread with one page load. I cannot stand BBS software that makes me click on each message to read it, subthreads, etc. It is more bother than it is worth, I can go back to usenet and do better than that, despite the signal-noise ratio.

Other than that, a nice website with poolplayers to chat with, after I am done working then playing pool then family matters then internet. <are my priorities screwed up properly, or what?>

OK, It does load a little slow but it's not that bad, this is such a good site it is worth the wait. A few seconds is not going to kill any one here.

It seems like www.billiards-pool.net was a little slow at first, but now that some of the regular posters from this forum have begun to follow you over there, it is really taking off.
