hey all,

just got word that my cousin has come down w/ a disease that will most likely force him to use a cane and i was thinking of making him a cane for xmas.

anyone have any pics of canes that are made of some nice looking wood? doesn't necessarily have to look like a cue.

or if anyone has any ideas of design, specs, etc.

thanks

...........I don`t have any pictures, but I like your thoughtfulness, and your idea! I bought Mr. Puckett`s cane, but sold it long ago. Wish I had it back.

Make him a great one!

i was thinking about this myself. my idea was a handle with a joint in the middle that could be screwed onto a butt of the correct pin size as opposed to a separate one piece cane. the handle could be inlaid to match the cue.

good idea, because i will be flying to see him for xmas and having a 2 piece cane would not only fit into luggage, but hopefully will be able to be in carry-on (doubt it).

I actually found a cane a few years ago that was made using a Titlist forearm. the splice portion of the cue was too short to convert into a cue so I passed on it. I guess maybe I should have picked it up!
