Pool Hall Junkies is now on Netflix

after meeting Mars and getting to know him, I like that movie now. At first I didnt and there are several reasons that were beyond his control that made the movie "Not as good as it should have been". Watch it a few times it gets better

To watch shooting gallery or turn the river Netflix would have to set up a section where they paid me to watch a movie.

Wasn't crazy about Pool Hall junkies. Liked Color Of Money but the ending was a little disappointing. The Hustler is the only realistic movie about pool and hustling, IMO.

I loved pool hall junkies. You have to remember it was a sun dance movie... Which actually won awards there... And was made on a she string budget. Now stick men was terrible!!

Chalk

I collect any movie about pool and Pool Hall Junkies is by far my most favorite to watch. I am not sure why so many people hate on this movie because it is so much fun to watch. When I see it I just have to pick up a cue and go to the table and hit a few. Now out of all the movies about pool the one that I was only able to watch just one time and I mean just one time is the movie "CHALK" now that was just TRASH. Now for those of you that have not seen it your curiosity has just peaked and are now on a mission to find it. I got it off of ebay, saw it and put it right back out there. Man I drop that piece of $hit like a dead mouse in the toilet. For those who have seen it you know just what I am talking about.

Bah such hate for a b movie. Your never going to get a great mainstream film writer to an original script. Take it for what it is an decent attempt attempt. Would like to see you do better till then I'm watching it. An Christopher walken rocks.

I agree

Absolute garbage!

Only two words to describe this movie perfectly. That's one less than it took the guys who said "Two thumbs down".

One thing I have learned from this thread though, Fatboy2 has a lot more patience than I do. I would have to be unconscious to sit through this movie more than once.

Best part of that movie was Walken. I can't stand how they had to have so-called pro players play bank shots, jumps, etc... I'm sure all the non-players were impressed, but made me laugh a bit like their position play would suck so bad they had to bank every other shot.

They need a movie where good players shoots a hundred easy shots in a row just like it should be in the real world. I think The Hustler is still to this day the only one that showed the players and the game in a fairly realistic manner. Color of Money is second.

It was a movie lol and a b movie at that! Not a documentary! Yes they hit balls to hard and to many Bank shots lol.

You also don't need to shift a car 25 times in a quarter mile but I still love watching the fast and the furious every time its on. Lol. Its not ment to be accurate it's ment to entertain!

Like another said there's not many pool movies out there so enjoy the ones we got!
