Pool Hall Junkies

More like Pool Hall Rehab, the sequel to Pool Hall Junkies.
Starring Nick Nolte as Phil "The Fin", Adam Kutcher as "The Kid", and Selma Hayek as Squeaki.
Who plays Roofer Ray, Larry "The Whimpster" Lassiter, Measureman "The International Poolplayer",
and of course "Puerto Rican" Hank.

Measureman=George Clooney
Roofer Ray= Any actor that never shuts up
Larry Lassiter=Barry Pepper
Hank=I'm stuck on this one--------------------------

What about the 'crease in the pants'? When the guy can tell Walken has been playing pool because of the crease in his pants. Couldn't they have put chalk on his fingers or something? Has anyone gotten a 'crease on their pants' after playing pool? And then... so unique that "it can only be caused by leaning on a pool table"?

That always bugged me too. So dumb. Any little thing could have worked instead of that... chalk on the palm, making a closed bridge instead of an okay sign, he says some pool slang like 'sweating' or 'the nuts' or whatever... the crease in the pants was written by someone who never actually spent 5 minutes around pool players.

Haven't you seen the episode of Seinfeld?? Starts at 1:44. :D

At one time in my pool career, the knee of my right leg was more faded than the left knee.

Esplanatian, I was kneeling on the floor retrieving the balls out of the return to put them in the rack more than I was breaking. True story, yes.
Plus I wore El Cheapo Wal Mart Wranglers. And I also played with a Dale Perry 1 of 1 too, so get out of town.

not a movie guy

I enjoyed the movie,probably because it is about pool?I am not realy a movie person,I think that most of what Hollywierd does is garbage,and this is a B movie?But i will prob watch it again.

Haters Gonna Hate

I for one enjoyed this movie. I love having it on in the background as I'm practicing or shooting in my basement. Sure, it was a better movie when it was called Rounders, but really, who cares. It's a movie about pool, and we honestly don't get to enjoy many of those. Say what you want about it, but I do think it's got some hilariously funny lines.

"It's common knowledge."

Plus, Walken made his trick shot on the first attempt....

I don't have the movie itself,,but started watching it on u-tube. Not sure if the whole movie is there,,but found part 1 and part 2. Might be 20 parts to it ,to watch the whole thing,not sure.

First thing I noticed,,,they sure like to use the F word. So I said,,,F this,,,and quit watching. lol

The whole thing is on there, I think there are 9 parts to it. Second, to answer another post, Mars Callahan can play real pool, nothing even close to what he plays in the movie and probably not even close to a 100 ball runner. If I was to bet, I would say he probably plays somewhere along the lines of Danny in the movie, can beat the bangers and most decent players and that's it, maybe the occasional really good player on a good day.

It was just a horrible movie. Regardless of pool. Haven't seen it in ages. Just remember I think the stars brother was hanging with his posse. They looked like 30 year olds acting like they were in high school. And they said boobies alot or something like that. I was really tempted to turn it off.but ill watch anything. Wish i could sue to get the 2 hours of my life back.

i just watched it two more times, to make sure that I hated it. and now i would like 6 hours hours of my life back. this movie is atrocious.
