Im looking maybe into moving to the greater state of Delaware in the summer of 2012. Only thing is I know nothing of the pool scene in Delaware and was wondering if anybody on here could help me out.

So far Ive found First State Billiards in Dover and Royal Billiards Player Club in Wilmington.

Im looking into moving to either city based on rental properties and available jobs.

Any help would be great!!! Heaven forbid I move to a place with no decent place to shoot pool

Get to know the Valley bar box and the APA...

First state billiards is a nice room 4 9' Gabriels with tight deep pockets a host of well maintained Gold Crowns and a few Connelys. No alcohol but the rates were decent. Never reallyseems crowded, but it's been a while since I've been in there on a weekend.

Don't know anything about royal billiards.

If the lease purchase deal I am trying to close falls through I might have a real nice house in Smyrna for rent...

Well if you move to Upper Delaware you will be a close distance to Pa poolrooms. Drexline, Frazier, Philly and some Jersey Rooms. If you go to southern Delaware you will then be in our pool hub. Southern Delaware has Cambridge, Salisbury, and Dover is up a little. But Dover is 1 hour from Cambridge and Salisbury.

Funny that you mentioned lower and Upper because I was looking at both. Virginia is getting a little pricey and its too far from my immediate family so the Lady and I were thinking about moving to Delaware.

I was really hesitate to move because of all the pool action here in the VA/MD area and then my lady says, "Dummy!!! You will still be in an area thats at most a 2 hour drive of all the events you want to play in VA/MD inculding NJ, Philly and NYC!!! What more could you ask for??"

I had to admit... She made me a very happy guy :lol:

I live right in the middle of the state. Valley Forge is a couple hrs. DC is 2 hrs, Jersey and Philly are 1 1/2 hrs as is Baltimore so you can be most anywhere fast.

I need a 3-4 bedroom with 2 and a half baths and a yard for my Old English Sheepdog.. As long as I have those requirements I would like to check it out on a monday afternoon if possible.

Ill have to check out the place for jobs aswell. Im in Hospitality so if you know of anyone out that would be great. I have over 10 years of fine-dining experience and have a huge amount of knowledge in food service, wine, liquors and mixology...

Resume is available upon request :thumbup2:
