pool halls in union city ca?

Don't know of any in Union City. The nearest one that I can remember is the one in Fremont; Can't remember the name though and not sure if it's still there.

east bay pool rooms

There's no pool rooms in Union City but there are a couple in the area. Bay Billiards in Fremont (just off hwy 880) is probably the closest. They have a local Wednesday night 9ball tournament that gets a decent turn out.

Going further south you have Edgies in Milpitas (Between 880 and 680 at Calaveras). Nice pool room, good action. Then down into San Jose.. or Campbell from there. Going north of Union City is Straight Shooters in Hayward. Small room, not too much action but some. Most of the guys like to play 1P.

Next to that I would recommend The Broken Rack in Emeryville. (just off hwy 80)

Or, go for a drive over to California Billiards or Shoreline Billiards. Both are in Mountain View and are worth the little longer drive.

Drop me a line when your boy gets settled in. I'd be happy to meet up and shoot some.
