Is there any places to shoot on the strip? I am going to be there next week and will not be venturing far from the strip. Thanks in advance
 
If you dont want to venture far, then the cue club is the closest. go to sahara and head east for a couple blocks and its on the right.

but......
dont ride the bus to sahara and las vegas blvd corner and walk thete though. not the nicest of areas.
 
its worth the cab fare to go to BEST BILLIARD, It,s on Flamingo I believe. By far the best place to play in town. Spotless, great food and great people.

I agree with this. Although it wouldn't take more than a half hour on the bus if you caught it from the strip.
 
The first and last time I was at the Cue Club, most of the toilettes along with the urinals were plugged. TP all over the place, it smelled like a fire hydrant in a dog pound and there was a trail of puke leading into the restroom that could have been cleaned up.

Other than that, the tables were great to play on and I bought a T shirt.

First impression wasn't good, no biggy. I'm used to those kind of places in my younger daze. Its just that I'm not that young anymore.

Definitely go to Best Billiards if you can. It's one of the nicest, cleanest rooms I've been in. They have great equipment and the place is so nice and clean. I was impressed when I went in October. I'll be in town this weekend and I'm making it a point to go there. It is a few miles from the strip but like others have said it's well worth cab fare or taking a bus. It's on Flamingo east of the strip. They have a 10ft Hermilin heated slate pool table. Only one in the country I believe, can't miss the opportunity to play on that.
