Was wondering if anyone knows a pool hall that has Diamond Pro-Am tables between Missouri, Arkansas, or Louisiana? I'll be driving through these states this weekend and wanted to try out a Diamond table before buying one.

Buffalo's near New Orleans is crawling with them. I hope this helps!

I'll remember that, won't be going to New Orleans this weekend though. Anyone know of any places in Branson, Springfield, Little Rock, or Shreveport?

Diamonds!

Jamaica Joes, Okla. City. ALL Diamonds. 13 sevens and 3 niners. Great food. $8 burger and one hour table time lunch special or $11 burger and unlimited till 6 pm.

if you are coming down i-55 jump across the river to memphis and try the rack. its full of diamonds, bar tables a 9 footers.

Springfield, MO has Diamond 9 footers at The Fox & the Hound but I'm not sure if they are ProAms. It's right across from Hooters. ;)

Dennis' Place on west Sunshine Street (next to KYTV's broadcast tower and studios) has 10 Diamond bar boxes.

So... go to Fox & Hound then possibly lunch at Hooters, then stop at Bass Pro on your way up Campbell Street to Sunshine. Make a turn to the west on Sunshine and go about 3 blocks or so to Dennis' Place.

Trust me, you don't need to play on one before buying it.. You will be 100% satisfied with the amazing quality pool table you will recieve. I have fallen in Love with Diamond Pool tables since playing on them.. and hope myself to one day have one in my home.

You would expect this to be true - but there are several "old school" guys in my local room that DESPISE the diamond table. They've been playing one hole for 40 years and just can't (or won't) relearn the speed and angle variances coming off the rail, compared to GC's.

So, it depends on the person considering the purchase. Although, these 2 particular guys are the only people I've heard say they will never play on one and think they play terrible. *shrug*

Beezer's in Russellville, Arkansas has 12 nice Diamond 8-footers. Not sure if they're Pro Am's. I just know they're Diamonds and I've been there as recently as last weekend.

The owner is Mark Smith and he's on this board from time to time. I believe his AZ handle is his own name.

If you DO go thru Russellville, do yourself a favor. Go to CJ's Burger Boy and get a cheeseburger. They use fresh ground shoulder with some magical seasonings. Every person around there says it's the best burger they've ever had and I fully agree with them (and I'm VERY picky about burgers).

BTW, the main room at Beezers, where the Diamonds are located is non-smoking. They do have a smoking room at the other end of the building with it's own entrance. So, it doesn't get to the Diamonds.

Good luck on where ever you go.
