Miz was born in 1944, Sigel 1952, Reyes 1954, Strickland 1961.

Surely these Lords of Billiards crossed paths at various points in time, who got the better of whom?

The Mizerak-Sigel rivalry was during the straight poor era, mostly from 1979-85. The rivalry was pretty even when it came to straight pool, but Miz was no match for Mike in nine ball.

Sigel was a thorn in Efren's side in the mid and late eighties. The two met in many tournament finals, and Sigel dominated him.

Sigel had an edge over Earl, though not a big one, in their many head to head nine ball matches form 1984-93, but Earl was beginnning to get the better of him in the latter part of that period. Ask Earl Strickland who the best nine ball player he's ever seen and he'll say Mike Sigel. He's said so on numerous occasions.

Earl vs Efren was a great rivalry. Aside form Efren's great win at the Sands Regency when he two rail kicked in the five double hill, Efren's great achievement against Earl is surely the race to 120 they played in Asia in either 1998 or 1999. Efren came from well behind to win 120-117. Still, Earl had the better of this rivalry over the years.

I have a tape of Earl saying Efren is the best ever. It's from the early 90's I think. One thing about Earl and Efren's rivalry, Earl always had a ton of respect for Efren. On two different tapes when Efren beats him, Earl is all smiles and practically hugs Efren. When Earl loses to other players, he looks pretty angry.
 
Efren robbed Sigel playing rotation.
Efren lost to Buddy Hall playing 10-ball.
I believe Earl stopped gambling when Efren got here so they never hooked up.
But, the Color Of Money match was almost like a money match since the winner got $75K and the loser got $25K.
