Pool Instructors for AZ Room

I know Scott Lee had mentioned an interest in the room but I don't know if he's going to conduct any clinics. I did mention that we would very much like for him to do so a couple of times during the week. One early & one later since members will be there at different times of the week.JoeyA said:

We learn from asking questions, but if after having it explained twice, two different ways, please do not hold up the session and everyone else. Allow the instructor to carry on and then maybe they can spend some one on one time with you after the session has ended, to help you understand a little bettter.

Should the instructors be allowed to give one on one lessons?
If so, for how long?
Personally, when things are a little slow, I see no reason for the instructors to not be able to provide one-on-one pool instruction pro bono or not, especially when it gets a little slow around the AZ room which it does from time to time.
I spent a good amount of time in the AZ room last year and gained much knowledge from the various instructors who were teaching one on one as well as the group clinics. Hope this year to retain some of the names of the AZers who pass through.
I think any AZer should be able to listen in on any one-on-one (paid)lessons but not participate. This way the instructor can better communicate what needs to be said to that one particular student. In the case where the student is paying for a one-on-one, hour pool lesson, I don't see any problem with non-payers to wait until the paying pool lesson is over. The instructors are coming by and giving of their time freely and should be allowed to pick up a few bucks whenever possible. Personally, anything over an hour is probably too long to tie up the AZ table from "public" use.
There is a lot to be gained by having the AZers and the instructors know what the rules of engagement are. Specifying a particular amount of time for one-on-one instruction whether it is for pay or not is a good idea.

As we did last year, we will have a schedule of activities on the board. Any pro's or instructors that wish to put in an appearance need only put their name and time and date on the schedule board. Of course, the sooner they do this, the larger the turnout.
I am NOT aware of any one-on-one paid lessons given last year. I guess that my opinion is that the AZB room is not the place for that activity.
I DID see Jerry Briesath give probably 15 hours of free lessons to whomever was around (one, two, or a few at a time), but I was not aware that any money changed hands. For someone like that, I guess I would not be opposed, as long as the table is empty otherwise.
I also saw Jerry B. give a lesson (unpaid) to Jeanette Lee in the AZB room, which was cool to observe (except for the strange guy sitting there trying to offer his advice every 30 seconds).
I also think that during any demonstration/group lesson/exhibition that ALL questions for the presenter be saved until the end. Too many of our really good sessions deteriorated immediately into "backhand English debates." Let the pro's present first before you belabor the room with your profound theories on pool.
P.S. - I think we will place the guideline about "no lessons when players need the table" on the board for all to see. Bring any violations to the attention of Steve Lomako or myself (he's a lot bigger than me though).

By "us" I mean the AZB'ers in the audience. The majority of the AZB'ers are there to learn from and enjoy interacting with the pro's; THEY are the ones who suffer when the opinionated ones dominate the presentation instead of the pro.
I didn't mean to imply that I was one of the experts (no one but an idiot or breakup would show up if I gave a presentation); I'll try to edit it so it makes more sense.
Here it is; good advice for all AZB room attendee's: "Let the pro's finish their presentation before you belabor all of us in the audience with your profound opinions."
