Pool jersey's, love 'em or hate 'em..??

While I'm not a fan of jerseys for regular players out playing or leagues, what's really appalling at leagues is having to look the other way because of your opponent's crack on their ass showing. We have two players on one of our leagues that when they bend over to shoot about half of their ass shows. It's absolutely disgusting, I want to walk over while they are bent over and pour my beer down the crack of their ass, but it would be such a waste of a good beer though. If any of you reading this might be one of those persons, please cinch your belt up another notch and save us from having to look away while you shoot.

Speaking of crack of the ass, we have a guy in our league that slowly walks around the table and then will put his hand down the back of his pants,
doesn't scratch or nothing but then puts the same hand over his chin-mouth area. Needless to say we fist bump opposite hands instead of shake at end of night.
 
There are a couple teams I know that have pool shirts but I think they are always over the top gaudy. If they were something very simple, maybe like a plain golf shirt with small lettering, I would consider one. Although they are all so overdone players look like nerds in them, imo.

Couldn’t agree mor. Cohan is the best example of something that crawled out from under a bridge. Pool needs a dress code. Slacks and collared shirts at tournaments and when streaming on Facebook and UTube. Otherwise you look like someone in the Walmart parking lot.
 
I voted no even though I have one because I’ve never worn it. Most of the ones I’ve seen are just too gaudy.

The one I have was actually a gift from a billiard supply store that I’ve done a lot of business with. Actually it’s relatively subdued compared to most I’ve seen but it still is just an advertisement.

I could see one of the ‘wicking’ style with maybe my name on it (like on the front left/over the pocket if there was one) but it would have to be pretty mild for me to be comfortable with it. I live in Texas and there is a lot to be said for wicking shirts!

And BTW, I’m no spring chicken or 600+ Fargo player so an ostentatious shirt just wouldn’t fit with me.
 
We were joking about this the other day
Met up with some people buying a cue from me the other day at a bar during an APA league
There were a lot of team jerseys and nobody could make a ball.
I don't care if people can play or not I just sell pool cues but the jersey thing is corny
 
I'm not entirely sure exactly what you mean by "pool jersey" but if you mean t-shirt with vaguely pool related slogans and stuff, I don't think there is anything more lame in the entire world than a shirt that says "Hustler" or something similar on it. I'm seriously trying as hard as I can to think of something more embarrasing to wear, but I'm coming up with nothing. I once saw a 300 pound, 40 year old guy in a t-shirt with like anime girls faces on it, and it still isn't close. If you gave me the choice between sporting a skullet, a pink tutu and a sweater that said "Brony" on it in rhinestones, or a "Hustler" t-shirt, I'd pick the former getup.

Edit: Ok you mean those shirts that looks like what a person riding a road bike would wear? I mean...for Mosconi cup they may be ok. Wouldn't wear one personally and I don't really think they look all that great, but for a televised team event, maybe. I don't really understand the "athletic" gear for pool. It's not a very active sport. You can easily wear normal clothes playing pool. You don't need tights and arm warmers and stuff. It just looks a bit silly.

I have a fun hustlin Shirts . I Actually have a jacket that fits really well I wear lol but I agree with you. I can’t believe they’ve been selling that stuff for what? 20 years . .. that’s crazy.
