I traveled out to the country outside Los Angeles, high in the hills, to give a pool lesson yesterday. It was in a huge log cabin located on top of a mountain. My client was a musician by the name of Patrick Leonard, a super nice guy who happens to be an avid pool player. Just wondering if any of you musician folks on here know that name. Turns out he has a pretty good track record in his business.

We had a great time together and I showed him a few drills to improve his game and a few tricks to make pool more fun. At the end of the lesson he took me in his studio and played a piano solo for me. OMG is all I have to say. The man is an incredibly talented musician! :thumbup2:
 
A log cabin with a pool table and away from the rest of the world.

Sounds like a good situation to me.

Bio: Pianist/composer/producer Patrick Leonard has worked with superstars like Madonna, Roger Waters, Elton John, and Jeff Beck as a producer and keyboardist.

I went through his site and it is impressive! This maybe the kind of guy you may want to pal around with lol :thumbup:

ya think? a log cabin with a box, view of the lake, fridge full of food, fire wood already chopped up, maybe a little snow for effect,...just dreaming, sounds wonderful. sign me up.

Better watch out for those mountain guys, Jay.
Several years ago I had a cabin in the mountains of Kentucky for about six months. This guy, he called himself Bubba came knocking at my door. Big burly guy with overalls and a full beard. He probably weighed three hundred. He said he saw the smoke from my cabin and he had come to invite me to a party the following week at his place over on the next ridge. He said there was usually a lot of drinkin' and alot of sex at these parties. But he warned me he had seen some fighting at some of them in the past. I told him I had never been to a mountain party but I thought I could probably okay. He was about to leave when I asked him how I should dress for the event; he said, "Dress anyway you like, it's just goin' to be the two of us".

Yikes!

I saw where you said you could not play any more in a Fat Boy thread. I knew you could play though! Now you are out giving pool lessons....
