There are quite a few good ones in our game, but too often Not.
Often when the side matches are on you tube, I just hear the balls colliding and being pocketed.

Here's an interesting thing the PGA is going to try out.

Conversations between players and their caddies are always one of the most popular parts of a golf broadcast, and this week at the 2026 Rocket Classic, those conversations will be more audible than ever.
PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will introduce a new commentary-free stream for all four rounds at Detroit Golf Club. The feed will include coverage of the marquee groups on each day without any announcers, focusing instead on player-caddie chats and ambient noise around the course.

Of course it's not normally in pool unless the player has an instructor in tow, but it could be with the Jr Players/coaches/parents. I found it interesting they are going to try this out. There are allot more sounds on the links that's for sure.

It’s good but generally gets boring. …21 cover 36 pin 5 hurt from the left plenty of room right. So a stock 50 off the tower? I love that…

The one thing pool players ( and bad caddies) can learn is there is never any negative. And once the player decides all you hear is “ perfect” “ I love that” etc…. It’s all process.

Unlike the new caddie I had at a newly opened great course who had a wrong yardage and once indicated “Don’t go left here..”. I didn’t mention the yardage that left me in a cool bunker that I thought would be good to play out of, but I did mention that when he got to member play he might want to say something like “ lots of room right” vs “ don’t go left”…, 😝. I am exhibit A in bad sports psychology and “ don’t go left” translates into one of the better pull hooks you could come up with…
