Subject: Pool on Christmas



Well, my friends the holiday is past and I wanted to let some of my close friends know that in the tradition of billiards, I have now made it to the hall on Christmas morning playing pool, 39 years in a row.

This all started 39 years ago when I was lying in bed with my then girlfriend, soon to be my wife and I asked her "Honey, I would like to make love to you all day long or have a day at the hall playing pool. Well, she snuggled down real close to me and put her mouth to my ear and said 'honey, don't forget your jacket!" A tradition was born.

I played on Christmas Eve... quite peaceful and relaxing whilst I saw everyone else zipping around town like idiots.. lol
 
Pool is not life or death

But it definitely ranks ahead of Christmas in America. I played pool with my two grown sons who came to see us. We played much of Christmas eve and most of Christmas day. We did take some time out Christmas day to go out and waste hundreds of rounds of .223, 30-30, 44 mag and 9mm. For some reason the women and children wanted to stay home?

The tree was mostly empty underneath but love was thick in the air!!:)
 
I got my dad a new cue for Christmas. So we went to the hall Christmas eve. Then spent Christmas afternoon at
the E.R. with my dad because he cut the tip of his finger off while helping with dinner. So we had hot dogs for Christmas dinner.
