Pool Players and their "WTF" gestures...

I'd have to equate the "stone face" to poker. Poker players strive for the "poker face" because they don't want you to know what they have in their hand. It's the same with pool players, we're stone faced because we don't want you to know what we have in our hand. Pull off an impossible shot and you must have that "I knew it was going look" so your opponent knows he's outclassed. It can be very demoralizing when someone hits 2 or 3 real tough ones like they are straight in, all the while acting like they are straight in....Why get excited about it falling, I meant to do that. Missing and showing frustration is an extension of this mindset.

My favorite pro to watch is Earl. When he misses a shot he quickly spins around and points at a fan on the rail. Sorry the devil made me say that. All kidding aside though.....I love to watch him when he's on. Nobody picks out paterns and shoots faster than Earl. I love to watch Buddy Hall also. He has some soft stoke for a big man. Johnnyt
 
A lot of times players do their wtf's when they don't have too.
Example: "Rolled a bit far now I have to draw 6 inches for shape instead of follow 2 inches. WTF!!!!"
 
OHHHHHH I do the WTF saying or thats just sick, mainly when i slop a ball in after it rattles the pocket and goes else where or, i pull off the miracle shot or miracle shape.

I even do it when the person I'm playing gets the same thing, its just part of how i am. I mean yea it sucks slopping a ball in to only run out, but hey it does happen.
