I know things are tight this season for a lot of people. I luckily still have a very good job that is very stable.

I would like to teach less fortunate kids about pool and part of that is obviously getting them a cue. What would you guys recommend as far as cues go that would getting them a usable cue (something not totally horrendous).

Any kind of teaching materials you guys would recommend for younger children and teens?
 
I think one of the best Jr. billiards resources is via the Billiards Education Foundation (BEF). http://www.billiardeducation.org/

Another group here in Vegas that you may draw some ideas and inspiration from is the Afterschool Billiards Cooperative (ABC)

As far as cues, there are some real decent jr. cues that are carried by most of the larger manufacturers. Maybe they would be willing to donate some inexpensive cues towards your cause.
