Pool room temperature variations

For all you home pool room guys. If I keep the temp in my room at 70 degrees when occupied what is the allowable temp that I should keep it when not in use. Overnight in summertime temps. Currently I am keeping it at 77 degrees overnight to conserve energy. I have only had the room for 3 weeks. Have not received first power bill yet. Would it hurt the table (affect the play)to let it get to 80 when not in use.

I was our Community Room was 70 Degrees, but anything is better then like it was today outside 114 Dry Hot Degrees

I own a Small pool room it only has 9 tables. Now I don't know what temperature is ideal for a table, but I keep the temperature in my room between 69 and 72 degrees all year. I think that as long as you keep the temperature somewhere between 65 and 75 all year long the table will play the best it can based upon the quality of the cloth, and the quality of pool balls used.
 
I only turn on my AC 30 mins before and during playing, and I live in Jamaica where it is summer all year round. I've find if I keep it covered except for when I'm playing, the heat or humidity doesn't seem to have any effect. Electricity here is literally 5 times the price so I have choice but to do it this way and it still plays great after 8 months. Gold crown 3 with simonis 760. I did leave the cover off once for a week and the cloth began to stretch and I could feel it developing slack. Covered it back up and it got tight by itself again.

pool room temp

I live in the Metro New Orleans area w/ high heat & high humidity. I have a Brunswick Sport Knig that was kept in my parents' non air-conditioned garage for many years. We only opened the door to the air-conditoned laundry room when we played. It played fine then & it plays fine now, 55 yrs. later. Remember there was once a day when there was no refridgeration & only wood burning stoves & they played pool in those days. I think the table would be fine in any 'reasonable' temp but it will play differently from day to day depending on humidity more than temp.
 
Thanks for the good comments. I have a gold crown with Simonis 860. From the comments I have received to this point I am going to allow the room temp to reach 80 when the room is not in use. I have a de-humidifier that keeps the humidity around 50 %. From your posts I think I will be good to go with these settings
