Randyg and I will be holding one of our 3-day intensive pool schools, this time hosted by Paul Mclain and 6 Pockets, in Decatur AL. Dates of the school are Friday-Sunday, June 27-29. This is a great room, and we're excited to work with some new and returning students for this school. We still have a couple of open slots. Anyone interested can PM me for more information. :D

I took a lesson from Scott last weekend. All I can say is "wow"! I got so much invaluable information, including video analysis of my stroke, personalized recommendations for my future practice sessions, PSR, etc. Thank you so much, Scott! I highly recommend to anyone who is located close to AL to use this opportunity and register for the course.

Im excited, i can't wait . its all I have been thinking about. The pool hall is top of the line. Road trip, 3 day nothing but pool. If I would have been this excited about high school I probably be smarter lol.

I'd also highly encourage working with Scott. He was with Pinky and I for 3 days @ 2 weeks ago. I thought I had the game pretty well wired, but he tactfully proved to me why I needed a few tweaks.

He speaks so highly of RandyG, I hope to meet him someday!

As an instructor, Scott is the bee's knees to me (I've spent time with a few). As a person, he's totally a charismatic, smiling knucklehead! ;)

I would love to do one of these if you're ever in the Philly area.

I thought you lived in Miami! LOL :D Seriously, if you're interested in having one of our schools in the Philly area, PM me with your name and phone number. That way we can start a conversation and maybe make something happen there in the near future!

you'll fit right in down there, after hanging with us. i'm pretty sure, that you left here w/ a slight accent....

and FYI (for all of yáll @ AL, GA, MS) - my game went from a 2, to a 10.
treat him right!

I have several friends that have told me countless times they wanted to go. They have seen what it has done for me over the years. Now they have a perfect opportunity to get the foundation to build their game. They have excuse after excuse . I had all the doubts and suspicions that they have on the value of pool school. I took a chance and went to pool school and it changed my pool life. I use to be an average player, now I can hold my own against anyone. Im playing the best pool of my life. I don't care what level you play, you will be a more powerful player at the table. An education is the best investment anyone can make. Plus its really fun and rewarding.

I absolutely agree with lastdimetaker, pool school is one of the best investments that a player who wants to get better can ever make. The change in my own game has been dramatic for sure. Don't let this opportunity pass you by if Decatur is even close to local!

Thanks Tim...Everything you say is so true. It is amazing how many players will throw down several hundred dollars for a new cue, but wouldn't consider spending that to really learn how to best utilize it. See you Friday!

This guys offer a great program. Your game will improve by spending three days with them.

What a great event, great people and a great room. 6 pockets is a must stop pool room and they have wonderful hospitality. Randy and Scott were awesome mentors and I hope to hear the successes of all the student in attendance. It was my honor and privilege to be involved and share in your pool journey!

Great weekend, very productive. accomplished my goals.
I wanna say that my wife went through the course and she was amazed at the quality of the instruction. I asked her to go so that she could better understand me better.
On the way home she let me know that she was gonna put the practice in and once she feels confident she is gonna start playing in the local tournaments. She is really excited.
Thanks guys

It certainly was a fun weekend, and great advances were made by every student. Steve...you did a great job as one of our instructors, and I know your dad learned a lot too! Tim...you and Trish were great students, and I know you'll take this wherever you want to go with it. Thanks again to Paul Mclain, owner of 6 Pockets. I agree that this room is a must stop for any poolplayers anywhere in the SE. Look for us to hold another school there next fall!
