bfdlad said:I have an idea for after the school. I'll take Earl and you take Johnny Scotch doubles, race to 7 for $1,000. Just tell me what you think for now, I am not commiting yet just wonder if you would be in. I could be making a mistake here as I am a weak 4.
I think you may be a little low on your pricing there Fatboy, I would want at least $60.00 for you to sign but Hey you gotta make a buck right? I don't think I got an answer from you as to if you would want to play with Johnny against me and Earl for $1,000.00 If you agree I will have other stipulations. Just want to see if you have any level of interest. I know that a coin flip gives yu a 50/50 chance but if you were playing me and Earl it goes down to like 20% just FYI before you make a decision.Fatboy said:i usually PAY people $20 to sign their CB, sometimes $40 if its a new shiny one. I did sign one for a blind guy once for free-I told him I was Jay Helfert. Its a tough gig for me now, but someday they will be collectable, wouldnt you like to have Tiger Woods first golf ball?
Ok, if you back is not right and you are in real pain when you bend down to play I will go to $2,000.Fatboy said:I might be able to do that, if my back is ok i'm down to play. I havent tried since my operation, I'm 100% out of stroke now, if I can play just enough to remember how to hold a cue i'm in, i'll let you know in a few days if I can play at all. I will 100% be there, i'll flip for $1,000 as many times as you can stand it, hell i let archer flip for me, i get lazy some times.![]()

It's a deal. CB and case for $500 right? I just don't want any miscommunication here. Ok So I only need 10 more people to make this pool school happen. I Think it's a great opportunity and considering it has been put together at the last minute and the price I think this is a great opportunity. Please spread the word.Fatboy said:yeah i'll getthe check out now and an extra $100 if you let me sign your CB or $500 and i'll sign your case, I dont sign cues sorry, i'm saving that for when i'm big time.
Joey, Once it can get some recognition and peole hear about it and the experience we may be able to put a small traveling school together so people can get it in their area and not have to travel all over the place like they do now. We shall see.JoeyA said:I would imagine that Monday and Tuesday when the league players start getting their weekly packets, they will be seeing the advertisement about the Strickland/Archer cue school for $200 per person and all of your school spots will be soon be gone.
REP to you for putting this together.
Maybe this type of thing will take hold all over the country.![]()
