Pool Shoes

my solution to sore feet

i work in construction and am constantly on my feet, then go spend 4 or 5 hours at the pool hall and i am really hurting. my wife got tired of hearing me complain, she is an avon rep and they have a new product coming out for sore feet, she got an advance sample and said try this. i was very skeptical of this so as a test i applied to only my left foot. viola! my left foot started feeling better so now i use it every day. she said it should be available in the next campaign. i highly recommend it.

Strange subject, these pool shoes. So many different ideas, about what's the best shoe.

In my book, Right on Cue, I get a shoe company involved in the production of a shoe for the game. They also come up with money to sponsor my tournament.

This is the kind of thing the game needs.

Don't forget, "I said it first."

I find those type of shoes described as 'skate boarding' too flat for me these days. I will say though I used to wear them all the time a few years ago, the were actually a pair of PUMA GV and Grey Ghost is right they were comfortable. I guess old age is catching up with me............OMG:eek:

you have to be careful with those type shoes....some of them just have a rinky ding insole so your foot is flat on the inside along with the flat sole your dead flat....those nikes I have came with a nice molded insole that keep my foot more natural.

I've tried other skateboard shoes like vans and DC and stuff like that and didn't like many of them but these nikes are pretty good, its the first pair of non running nike shoes that i've purchased in over 13 years.

chucks. the original athletic shoe , and you can wear 'em for days on end with your feet still feeling good. Plus , you can get 'em in some crazy ass colors . . .

(wish Ashley would weigh in on this one - she seems to prefer stilettos . . ):smiling-heart:

I wear Birkenstocks pretty much all the time. The cork footbed is the most comfortable thing in the world. I can stand for hours without a problem.

The first time I wore my Birkenstocks, one of the shoes hurt my foot but my shoe mentor told me to stick it out for another couple of weeks. He guessed that I had some arch problem. The Birkenstocks that I bought had a raised area that was uncomfortable on one foot. The shoes fixed my feet and I can wear them intermittently and still no feet problems.

Is there really such a thing as "pool shoes"?

Any type of shoe that's comfortable will work. It's not like you're going to slip and fall while you're down in your stance.

Go to finish line and ask about the Nike Free 5.0, or 7.0... You feel barefoot walking in them

Get in shape

take 30min off of pool and run walk every day, health should always come first! after a few months of running a few hours of pool wont even be noticed.
