Pool slang

Hi all...

Just started playing again after a long layoff, was probably a '6' in APA 8-ball and a 7 in 9-ball (been 10+ years)... and I have a couple of buddies who aren't so good that I play with. Actually, the company we work at has a pool table in the "break" room (sorry, pun intended) that we play on at lunch and after work (cool, huh?). Finally got to bring my Coker cue out of semi-retirement.

Anyway, a couple of times playing 8-ball, I've either broken and ran or maybe they took a shot and missed and I ran out (all 8). I seem to recall a slang term for that, when your opponent still has all 7 balls on the table, that was somewhat derogatory (in a trash-talking kind of way, not vulgar).

For the life of me, I can't remember any slang terms for that situation.

Anybody?

No... it wasn't ERO, that describes what you (the shooter) did.

The term I"m looking for is more like "leaving you in the house" or something like that, insinuating the person is incapable of making balls. It's right on the tip of my tongue, but like I said, it's been 10+ years.

It's used in 8-ball, not 9-ball.
