Right Johnny, should fit a BB though I've never had to actually measure for one. But it's not happening for a big track unless all you're going to use it for is to practice cross side banks. :grin-square:
MINIMUM of 5' from the playing surface on all sides. Better still, 5' from the outside edge of the table if you occasionally bridge with your finger tips on the outside edge of the rail with your bridge hanging off the table when the CB is on the rail. That would leave the OP only 6' 10" to accommodate the length of a 9' table. With a BB the length of the playing surface should be under 6' 10", which leaves enough room.
