This room looks so sterile and unwelcoming, I can't see myself playing here. You can see that it was designed by someone who doesn't care about pool and that pool table was placed there to fill an empty space.

Many mega mansions are like that, the pool table is just there because if you are rich then you need a pool table. I also know a guy who has a 30 million dollar mansion and he just placed a random pool table in a random corner "for the kids". His kids then play star wars with the crappy house cues..

William Randolph Hearst had a much nicer billiard room at the ranch and two much better swimming pools. I don't see what all the fuss is about.
