Otaye first off, i would like to say, after my first tattoo, i got addicted. I got some alright tats, some like what the hell was i thinking. But i seen this one guy at the league last year he had an eightball on his forearm, looked purdy kewl. And being such and addict to pool myself, give me a thumbs up or thumb down on this tat, got this off the site deadstroke, there is another one there where the nineball and eightball look like tribal designs, that i am going for too, but here is the one i want first.

Here is the one I am getting. It incorperates my fav money game, 6 ball, my fav color, green (eh..must be the Irish in me. ;) ), and my love for Gremlins. I haven't decided if I'm gonna get in on my neck or my left cheek.

BTW, your tat looks girly, JMHO.

Landshark,
Are you still working on winning Grems "Forum Dirtbag of the Month Contest"?
If you are I think you may have just blown it. You mentioned being Irish, used green and showed Grems pic. Your only hope for this post is if you swiped the pic from the Grem himself. :D
Oh yeah, Conartist that does look a little girly! Find something with lightning bolts.

Hey ConArtist,
I also have a addiction for New Ink. I'm currently thinking of putting together a whole "Pool" sceen on my lower leg. I just need to add to the one that's already there. Have some good things in mind.

Personally, I wouldn't get something inked on me that isn't original. The problem here is there is no telling how many people have used that design. An good idea would be to have the artist design something around and perhaps change it up or something. Like substitute barbwire for the rose and thorns. Just an idea...

That reminds me of a Seinfeld episode where George and Jerry are discussing who is the bigger idiot.

MT: L/S, you're an idiot. This post is really out there.
L/S: No, MT. You're a much bigger idiot. At least I do report something pool related occasionally!
MT: Please. Some of the shit that you post.
L/S: At least I can use Paintbrush to make my posts a little interesting....Unlike you.

Actually I thought the Grem tat was funny. And I know that George and Jerry were calling themselves idiots and not the other way around. But hey. This is a pool forum.

Wonder if someone made the TEMP Tatoo with Pool Stuff they would sell? The one that last for a Week. Real Tatoos are Cheap to Put on Compaired to the Cost of Removal. ;)

Word to the wise for tatoo guys/gals. In this day and age, it is crucial to have a tatoo done by a professional. My nephew got one, and according to him, the style that is popular with young folk is the plain-colored ones, with only one color ink as opposed to the multi-colored ones. He has a Celtic band around his upper arm.

After transcribing reams of paper relating to blood diseases for medical advisory committees, I am very aware that there is a danger to one's health when getting a tatoo if it is not done correctly by a PROFESSIONAL. I don't like to be the bearer of bad news on this thread, but I have a personal reason why I elected to respond.

You see, a very good friend of mine, who is my age, got a tatoo in her early twenties. About 5 or 6 years ago, she became quite ill and was told that she has hepatitis C. Nine out of 10 people who have hepatitis C today do not know they have it because it is a disease that can remain dormant for 20-plus years. However, when it hits, it is fatal. Even though she did receive a liver transplant, she is still extremely sick, experiences many side effects from the medicines, and her days are numbered.

Years ago, my brother fell in love with a gal from Arizona named Yolanda and had her name tatooed on his forearm. He eventually decided he didn't want to go around the rest of his life with "Yolanda" on his arm, so he elected to get a cover-up tatoo which was much bigger and more painful (IMO).

Not trying to be the grim reaper here, but I just want to throw this out there. Temporary tatoos are fun, but the permanent ones, if you must get one, do make sure you are getting it done by a reputable tatoo parlor.

This is not a tribal design. This is a ripoff of an MC Escher painting by Deadstroke. I have a friend who has this as a tat and it looks pretty cool.

Ink "is" addictive.

But ...

When you are 60,70,80 with blurred faded out tats all over your body, it
does not look cool, and even though tats are popular now, to most people
it represents a person of lower class, especially if they have a lot of them.

I have seen quite a few tats having been in the Navy .... buzzards on each
inside thigh flying up the a**hole, mouse running in the belly button,
even had a guy in the Navy that had his d**k tattooed to look like a
fish in a fountain with water coming out of its mouth. Anyway, I did 3
tours of Nam, and made it through the Navy without a tat even though
I was tempted several times, and even today I am tempted to get a simple
tat which has a 9 ball, but it would be private, and not for everyone to see.

I also had an Uncle that served 12 years in the Navy, had some nice tats
on his arms, but after he got out of the Navy, he never wore a short sleeve
shirt again.

Very Good Point!!

Hey Jam, You make a very good point. Where I go for my Ink ( Moonlight Tattoo, Seaville, NJ) a little plug, are the best IMO. They open everything in front of you. They charge you an extra $10.00 for the needle, a bargin at ten times the price. And some great artist as well.

Update and addition to my tattoo

Here is what my tattoo now looks like?

I got the ultimate pool tatoo! I gave the guy my money, he used the tattoo gun for hours, but stiffed me on the ink.

PS- that looks pretty good now

PPS- I love that the Cocobolocrapper posted on this thread using a guest account with his real name 8 years ago. Apparently he had not yet learned how to use different color fonts and letter sizing or how to find lame pictures on google and attach them to everything.
