Pool tournament@Casino= Warning!!

I can't say if all Casinos are the same,,but here in Michigan. I am convinced!!

I'll get right to it.

They have HD cameras in the parking lot. I am told ,,can read the serial number off a dollar bill!! Or if you are rolling a joint on a open book,,,they can read the book!!!

A few of my friends were just recently busted. Surrounded by cops ,,out of the blue!! And were told some very precise details about what was in their truck!!
They went to jail for a few hours,,but made it back for the tournament after bonding out,,, for crumbs found.
Im not going to get into the details of what happened with them.
But after this happened,,,many people started telling these stories about these cameras!!
And I did a search on the internet and found a few stories, stating this same thing about these cameras.

The tribal police do not play about this and are in bed with the local police about it all.

Hum, you are doing something currently illegal on private property. Not only private property but a separate Nation. That private property is under constant surveillance. Native Americans want to keep their "gaming" facility open while under scrutiny of the Federal government. Both the Federal and State governments want to keep the "gaming" facility open to collect their share of the profits. You're doing something illegal on their property. What am I missing?

My buddy was head of security at a Casino here in town. He said they could read license plates at the other Casino a mile away. This was 1999ish. I'm sure the cameras are better now.

Let me get this straight. You were doing illegal drugs in the parking lot and were caught? Its a good heads up but come on. This isn't rocket science. Its not like you didn't know you were doing something wrong.

Of course, smoking pot is still illegal by federal law (in the US), but let's be real. Most of those folks gambling in the casino are using nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, meth, coke, Ritalin, pot or any of a whole host of legal and illegal drugs.

The casinos just don't want you to get caught. By now most everyone knows that there are a zillion surveillance cameras watching us...

I will interject, legally speaking, that interacting with Tribal Police is much easier than dealing with State Police, so count your blessings. :yes:

The casino doesn't want to lose the money that some people would spend in their building but are turned away because they seen some flunkies smoking pot in the parking lot. It's their image they are protecting more people don't smoke pot compared to those that do.

Have some fun...go to the casino and pretend to "do something illegal" (better make sure you aren't) and see what happens. The worse thing that can happen is nothing but getting harassed, the best thing is they harass you too much and you sue them and win a portion of the casino......and the cameras.

Its kinda funny

Now I'm not saying all, but there are quite a few pool players that are not all that "big spenders" to a casino. And i can understand times are tough so no dis-respect.

Have a hunch your pals were between matches out smokin a duuubbee or 2 or 3 in there truck between matches. The Casino got upset because they probably came pack into the facility and bought all the Dorito's and Pizza......

what i do know - is when you walk into any casino, you're scanned, and they read the bars on the bills & know exactly how much CASH you've got on you....

If I were busted for pot, or open container, or anything in the parking lot of a Casino, I'd not likely ever go back to that Casino. I think most folks would agree, and I think the Casinos know this. They want your business and don't care if you smoke dung, drink moonshine or snort DDT.

The cameras are to discourage people from breaking into cars...
