Pool videos online for free???

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction,love watching them even though i need to have my sound card replaced,i have no sound!
 
I'm not sure if you had artistic pool in mind, but I've been hosting Artistic Pool videos on www.ericyow.com for some time. :) I don't know where to find other videos.

do a search for dc++ on here, there are links there that will take you to a place to download a program called revconnect. Then you type in the address you read about in the dc++ thread........people go there and share pool videos, matches, instructionals. I bet theres over 300gb of stuff there easy.
 
unfortunately that search didnt work scotty. I would be interested in the dc++ stuff.
 
its pritty easy:

download the program : strong dcc http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/File-Sharing/StrongDC.shtml
the program is totally freeware

then start the program, chose in the top, VIEUW - Favorit hubs
press new and
type in the name: pool or whatever u want to call it
type in the adress: interpool.dnsalias.com
type in raw1 : /slots 2 (not sure but i think u can put it there), the enter the hub u need to have 2 slots open at least. one for dl, one for upload. if it doesnt work, just type /slots 2 in the hub window (after u connected to it) (u can ofcourse open more slots, if u dont mind other people dl from u, but the minimum is 2.)
press; connect

then u are in the poolhub, some kind of chatlike thingy. On the right side, ull see names, double klick them to dl the list of files they have. a new window with the name of the person u clicked on, will open with all his files, chose the file u want to dl, and enjoy it.

u can find EVERYTHING there ull ever wanted, (did i already say EVERYTHING?) from full dvd's, all tournaments, instructionals, books, well hundreds of gigabite in poolstuff.

note: u can also connect to other hubs, bij pressing the public hubs button. Most wont let u connect to them if u are not sharing a certain amount of stuff. its the best program to dl, anything u ever wanted.

note2: u see the icon with a magnifying glass, press it, and its the search function for if u are looking for a certain file.

try a search for revconnect then.........that should take you to the post on dc++

I cannot get the interpool address to work it says it is unknown and does not exist. I know it must because you are using it. What is the exact address you are using
 
IT will not connect what do I do? I cannot search for anything. I dont think its the address its just will not connect with dcc++ server. It says connection refused by target machine

thats the only thing i write. the hub sometimes go down, but i just checked to be sure, and its open. ill post a picture so u can see if maybe u are doing something wrong...

what u can try, is type on the screen is " /slots 2 " without the ""...
as u can see on the picture , thats what a guy did, buthe put a space between the / and slots.

as u can also see, at 5am in europe, there is over 2000 gigabite in poolstuff... enough to keep u entertained for years

feel free to post here if something is not working... ill do my best to help u :D

PS; if the picture below is to small posted on the forum, click rightmouse buton, save image as, save it somewhere, and open and zoom on it...



another problem that some seem to have can be solved by doing this:
file - settings - connection settings - (normally it should say direct connection, chose pasive there)

In your picture, I don't see anything entered in that "raw" section.

Sorry for my ignorance, and thanks a million for any help you may provide. I disabled the firewall but to no avail...

like i posted before, write this in the window where u got that message
"/slots 2" without the " "
note: yes i dont have it written in my window... i thought it could solve the problem of having to write it every time, but guess not :) just put all exactly like i have on my window, and on the channel type the /slots 2 or more...

Ow another question, some asked there, when on status it says, no slots open, it means the person who has the file u requested already has someone downloading from him, and he has no slots open left for u to download. u just need to wait. i leave the program running in the background, and when i get up next day, i usually have the files.

nice to see some AZB'ers there. :) feel free to ask for more problems

Thanks alot I deleted the program and I am downloading it again. The first time it downloaded super fast like 1 minute. Now its a 62% and has been downloading for about 20 min. I have a cable connection. I will try it again. I hope it works I would love to have it. I will follow your instructions again will keep you updated thanks a million

Hey, thanks so much. It looks like I got it working with your guidance! I'll explore a bit.

To others, I have a cable modem and it took 20 min to download when it should have done it in about 30 seconds.
 
the poolhub has been online now for some days without a problem. glad some have made it work. normally my guide should explain ALL to make it work, the prove is; i met some AZB'ers there.

if u still got questions, u can always type them in the chatbox. im sure someone will help u. Say KIU hi from me if u see him :D

feel free to add dvd's, books, no one has. The more , the better it is for the poolcomunity. good night all, im off to bed.


glad i could help u out. and like some said, once u got it working its a TREASURE.

EDIT: some asked me about speeds; i get avg of 50kb/sec on the poolhub, if u like to dl non pool related stuff, feel free to enter a public hub (choose public hub in the menu, ull have to have a minimum of files sharing to be able to enter them, and u can get speeds to up to 1mb/sec there, depending your connection. enjoy, and sharing is the keyword.
