poolcuenews.com What's this dudes deal?

Lol, wow. People are reading in to this a little too deep. Cleary outted an anonymous Internet bully, and somehow it turned into pages upon pages of over analysis. I feel like I'm sitting in on an unrelated psych class. :p

Maybe some of us like to think about why things like this happen a little deeper.

How about that? It seems as if the "bully" label is only reserved for "anonymous" people.

How about when known people go out of their way to insult and denigrate others on AZB? Are they internet bullies as well who should be outed?

You make a statement that it doesn't matter when it OBVIOUSLY does. If it didn't then Cleary wouldn't have felt the need to "out" anyone. You wouldn't have cared what was written on the PCN blog. Justin wouldn't have cared.

But you do care.

And if you care enough to talk about it on here then why begrudge us the conversation. The fact is that there ARE cliques and factions in the billiard industry. There are little groups who "seem" to gang up at times.

Maybe that's a perception/reality thing but it FEELS that way.

Everyone talks about accountability. Well how about requiring people to post their affiliations before they launch into the criticisms? I'd love to see someone post that they received donations from Jack Justis before they launch into an attack on me. Then it saves me the trouble of "outing" that fact later.

So Cleary outed PCN, great. He did it HERE on a discussion forum so we are free to take the discussion into the surrounding topics if we want to.

You don't get to tell us when and how to discuss it.

I have a question though? In the elevator, in private, why didn't you confront Mike? Why not "out" him right there in private and get his take on it right then?

I assume that most of your crew knew this information well before Cleary posted it here publicly. So did any of you confront Mike privately and give him a shot at clearing the air between you first?

We all want to think we are morally superior to the other side. But are we really?

I can tell you with 100% honesty that there have been a few times when people on this forums have made very public statements which were 100% wrong and I could have lambasted them with a public revelation and instead chose to allow them to withdraw peacefully by revealing my information to them privately.

Anyway, the point is that it's out now and we can talk about it any way we want to.

Jesus JB, lighten up. Note the smiley face and the end of the message, put there to imply that I was just teasing you. I feel it was a pretty obvious hint. Clearly you can write and discuss such things however you please. I know you're used to being attacked, but not every post directed at you is of that nature. :p

(again, note the smiley face. that was a friendly jab, not an attack)

As for not confronting Mike in the elevator, it's because.....get ready for it.....***because I dont care***. You can persist on telling Clearly and I that we really care as much as you like, but at the end of the day....we simply don't.

Caring isn't measured in black and white. It's a spectrum. In this case, I care enough to say that I'm amused to see Mike outted, but don't give a shit for anything past that. It's also why every time he wrote about me, I didn't even bother to comment or complain.

poolcuenews.com

is a place I regularly visit because of this thread.

Will it ever return to a regular site?

Yea Herndon kind of pwned (thats not a typo) you bro.

Not kind of but a lot.

I see I am waaaay late to comment on this thread, but I just have to. This is the best news I have gotten in a long time.

There is a big difference in having opinions anonymously and writing plain mean statements about a person. All the things we write on the internet is there for everyone to find.

Possibly hurting people or giving them a bad reputation in a place where it cannot be totally erased, and then hiding behind the right to be anonymous is just to low for me. If this is your mission, show your face. If your mission is to raise eligible questions, than I have no problem with anonymity.

This is my opinion and yes, I have a personal beef with mr PCN guy.
