pooldawg8's milk did tips

I believe the OP made the same mistake as I: he ate some.

Luckily, they are shit...as in the pass right through. I sent some to Japan, after I pooped them out.

DAMN! I ENJOYED THAT FUNNY TO ME.

They really are fantastic and a great bang for the buck. Yes, they are $3.....and I've converted 2 friends over to them already.

I'm going to try the new Ki-Tech's that Renfro has out, as I hit with them in Tunica and really liked them as well. Then I'll make a decision on which way to go.

Jeff is a great guy to deal with, btw.

Alright, fill me in guys. I've been playing with Moori mediums for years and the only other tip I've liked is an Everest. I've been tempted by the ultraskins and g2's but haven't changed because I don't have an extra shaft just to try one out with. So now you're telling me that a $3 tip will out preform the $25 tip I've become accustomed to? I'm curious. What makes them so good?

Lucky,

I've been playing with Elk Masters for 46 years. They are one of the softest 'solid' tips out there & they are 'impregnated' with 'chalk'. I like a soft tip because, until TOI, I was shooting nearly every shot with some form of english. I have an OB classic with a Kamui Super Soft & it is not realyl any better than the Elk Master, at least not for the money.

The Elk Master is the tip that PoolDawg starts with to do his magic for those that don't like such a soft tip. I've never used one that he has modified but I can certainly see how others would like them.

For the price, It's really a no brainer to try one.

Regards, & Best Wishes,
Rick

Milk duds are 1 piece tips that are soaked in casein solution and then pressed. The process makes each tip more uniform and consistent. Multi-layer tips get their consistency from the plywood layering and the glue. So, when you buy a Moori medium it will perform just like the previous Moori medium you had. Single layered tips are not sorted, so you could have a wide variation in a box of 50.

Outsville-Ki-Techs have 4 QC check points... Just because a tip is not layered does not mean it cannot be graded to ensure consistency.... Sure it means you lose tips to the scrap pile but I am 100% sure they lose layered tips to the scrap heap as well......

Just got mine installed and had a quick hit.

I was worried the ob-1 shaft wasn't for me but after taking the tiger tip off and putting Jeffs on, it's a much sweeter hit.

The cue maker wasn't a fan of the tip that came with the ob-1 either. He had a hit with the dud installed and said it was a much better hit.

I can't assure everyone will have the same results but my confidence with the cue has increased a great deal.

Thanks for sending me those tips. I'll make sure to wear a glove (on both hands) next time I play. They sure do play great, though.
You should start a new line of tips by eating and pooping out milk duds and then reselling them as sh!t duds for twice the price! Yum!

Well, I wasnt going to say anything until closer to finality, but since the AZB has been so good to me...

I am currently working on the process of pooped tips, and I have narrowed the name to either:
Poo-duds
Dung-Dawg-Duds
Diarreauds
Stank Tip
Shitip

I am also testing product tweaks, but in order to produce the most definitive results, I am eating the same thing for a full week, before passing tips through the system.

I am currently on Mexican food, last week it was gyros.
