Poolhall food...

I noticed the meatloaf sandwich on your menu and was immediately reminded of when I was a kid. Wednesday night was meatloaf night around my house and then left-over meatloaf was used for sandwiches at lunch on Thursday. I'm almost certain it was a meatloaf sandwich that was in the pocket of the jacket I dropped down the hole in a porta-potty once. Luckily I was able to retrieve the jacket and save the sandwich. :D

o.k. you young whipper snappers here it is, atlanta ga earley 60ies, place BIG TOWN BILLIARDS, snooker-billiards-pool, and the best IRISH STEW& CORN BREAD, you ever laped a lip around, so good make you want to smack your granmaw!!! GOOD MEMORIES STICK:confused::confused:

Not the best, but the most memorable: 1964, small pool hall and bar in Olongapo (Philippines). Lots (and I mean lots) of San Miguel beer, followed by balut. Definitely not for anyone with a sensitive stomach or anyone who is even close to being sober.

Sonny's Brew & Cue in Milledgeville,GA has a great chicken sandwich(grilled or breaded) and an excellent steak sandwich. The hotdogs are good as well but I don't eat them very often. The other pool hall in town,Dodo's,has some of the best(and cheapest) hotdogs I've ever tasted. I don't know what it is about them but they sure hit the spot right.

The occasionally on the menu BBQ sandwiches at Michaels in Cinci, Ohio..... If you eat one you'll have at least three more.

Damn! I don't think there's enough Quervo in the world that could make me eat that.

Back in the '80's, there was a pool hall in Cupey, Puerto Rico that had the most awesome steak sandwiches. Thin sliced steak marinaded and grilled served on a half a loaf of bread with onions, french fries, and melted cheese all in the sandwich to create a delicious, juicy, greasy, slice of heaven. I'd get a tropical fruit (usually soursop or banana) milkshake to wash it down!

My homeroom Rack'em in Matthews NC has the best bacon cheeseburger I've ever eaten in my 53 years of life, it puts Fudruckers burgers to shame for $5 less. There pizza and chicken wings or tenders are great also as is the chicken phillie and salads.--Leonard

PS I'm pi$$ed I don't get 1/2 price off the menu through the warm months.
