Tried the search function but came up dry. Can anyone give me the poolrooms close to the SBE (within 15-20 minutes)? I have a couple of lessons scheduled, but I need to find a place. Thanks!

Classic seems to be a good place to go.
Markley is decent. Say Hi to Tony. Not sure if he knows me by name. I came in with Charlie Pocono last year.
And BJ's in Conshohocken. Not sure if there is any action or excitement going on there http://www.bjsbilliards.com

Classic is close and pretty nice

If you want quite and clean go to west chester billiards it's about 25 minutes away
 
Wherever you go count on Rt 202 or the Blue Route being a canker sore. Can be a real nightmare. Classic might be the best choice. You might be a half hour from Drexeline but the ride might not be worth it. That half hour ride can get extended at any moment....don't take a cab:lmao:

Not sure of how close it is, but there's also Drexeline Billiards. owned by Bob Maidhof. great classic room, and real quality players there !!

I'll be at Classics this weekend playing some 3C on a Kronus billiards table!!, and they have an American snooker table along with Diamonds and GC's. Great room, and daily specials.

sounds good Scott! I'll be the one giving the owner Jimmy a hard time! We have been buds for 20 years and it is my job to bother him mercilessly :) That and torture him on the 3c table....

open til 4am or later ,
17 gc3s, 1 3c billiard table,7 Bar boxs(valley)

2$ membership (one time fee/lifetime membership) and $5 per hr. per person.

Smoking /byob permitted.

might be worth the trip if the other rooms are too crowded or closing early.
